Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent to Blüemlisalphütte
From Kandersteg via Öschinensee, you independently ascend to the Blüemlisalphütte. The path leads through impressive mountain scenery, past steep rock faces and blooming alpine meadows. You'll feel the last meters to the hut in your legs – but the view from the terrace over the surrounding peaks is the best reward. In the evening, you'll meet your mountain guide, discuss the tour, and prepare for the next day.

Day 2: Summit Tour Blüemlisalphorn
The journey begins before sunrise. The Blüemlisalp glacier lies in the moonlight, the snow crunches under the crampons. After a steep final ascent, we reach the Rothornsattel. The last meters are a mix of snow and easy climbing – until you finally stand at the top. 3,661 m (12,010 ft), surrounded by sky, peaks, and endless expanse. After a short rest, we descend to Griesalp via the Hohtürli – an impressive route that perfectly completes the circle of this tour.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
