Day 1: Ascent to Gspaltenhorn Hut
Starting from Griesalp, the path winds through sparse mountain forest, then over alpine meadows and scree. With each meter of elevation, the view of the surrounding mountains becomes more impressive. The last section is challenging with steeper passages, but the thought of a warm dinner at the Gspaltenhorn Hut keeps you going. Shortly before dinner, you'll meet your mountain guide, discuss the route, and prepare for the big day.

Day 2: Climbing the Gspaltenhorn
The journey begins before dawn. The path to Bütlassesattel leads over boulder fields and scree – focused climbing is required. The adventure begins at the Leiterngrat: fixed ropes assist over exposed areas, with simple climbing moves alternating with walking sections. Soon you'll stand on the Gspaltenhorn, surrounded by a breathtaking panorama: Blüemlisalp, Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau line up in the distance. After a summit break, you return over the ridge, back to the hut, and further down into the valley. A tour that leaves you wanting more.

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
