Itinerary
Meeting pointsSelf-arrival at Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe, where our tour begins.
First, a short walk towards the Mönchsjoch Hut, then it gets serious: The southeast ridge of the Mönch awaits. The path leads over rock and snow – initially easy climbing, later exposed over the first snow ridge. The view opens to the north, revealing the Bernese Oberland. The gneiss climbing requires precise movements, and the steep snow keeps the tension up to the fore-summit. The last meters are intense: The narrow summit ridge leads to the highest point.
The effort is rewarded – a panorama from the Jura over the Midlands and the Bernese Alps. We enjoy the summit bliss!
The descent follows the same route.

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
