Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent of Mönch 4,107 m a.s.l.
After meeting in Grindelwald, we take the train to Jungfraujoch and begin the approach towards Mönchsjoch Hut. The scenery is already impressive. At the base of the Mönch Southeast Ridge, we gear up for the ascent. Easy climbing leads us to the "Rain Gauge," then over the first snow ridge. Here the altitude challenge begins. Gneiss slabs, steep snow passages, and narrow ridges demand concentration. The fore-summit offers a brief rest before tackling the summit ridge. From the top, the view stretches from the Jura to the Midlands and the Valais. We descend back to Mönchsjoch Hut to relax and unwind for the day.

Day2
Day 2: Summit Tour to Jungfrau 4,158 m a.s.l.
We set off early in the morning. By headlamp light, we head towards Jungfraujoch and continue to the spur. Here the climbing begins: a bergschrund, a chimney, a rock pillar, then we traverse to Rottalsattel. From here, every step is intense. The air gets thinner, the legs heavier. A steep snowfield forms the final hurdle. Then the moment: the summit of the Jungfrau! The vastness of the Bernese Alps unfolds before us. Time to savor the achievement. On the descent, we focus on the route until we finally stand again at Jungfraujoch.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
