Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent to Mischabel Hut
We start in Saas Fee and take the Hannigbahn to 2,339 m. From here, we head straight into the ascent: first across meadows, then steeply up rocky terrain, secured with wire ropes. Each step brings us closer to the Mischabel Hut at 3,340 m. Once there, we reward ourselves with a cool drink and enjoy the view. Now it's time to rest for tomorrow's summit day.

Day2
Day 2: Ascent to Nadelhorn 4,327 m
We set off early before sunrise. Climbing over rocks, we reach the Hohbalm Glacier and cross it, first flat then steep, to the Windjoch. Here the view opens up, the air is thinner, and the excitement builds. The final snow ridge demands full concentration – a few more climbing moves, and we stand at 4,327 m. All around, the giants of the Alps rise: Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Dufourspitze. After a short break, we carefully descend back to the hut and continue to the valley. Saas Fee welcomes us in the afternoon – mission accomplished!

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
