Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent to Gleckstein Hut
The path to the Gleckstein Hut is more than just an approach: A narrow trail winds high above the valley along a rock face, with views of the impressive Upper Grindelwald Glacier. Waterfalls roar, rocks tower into the sky, ibex watch from a distance. The hut perches on a rocky spur and offers a unique panorama in the evening. If you're lucky, the ibex come very close – an unforgettable moment.

Day 2: Climbing the Rosenhorn
Early in the morning, we set off. Headlamps dance along the alpine hiking trail into the Beesibärgli, followed by the ascent over vast glacier fields. The sky slowly turns orange as we reach the Rosenegg at 3,470 m above sea level. The ridge is straightforward but exposed – a final concentrated climb, then you're on the summit. All around, a scene of rock, snow, and depth: Wetterhorn, Schreckhorn, Fiescherhörner, Eiger, and Mönch. After the descent, a piece of hut cake awaits before heading back to the valley for good.
