Very early in the morning, we leave the hut and soon reach the glacier. Over a steep bergschrund and through a traverse of the south wall couloir, we reach the breakfast spot at dawn. In delightful climbing, we ascend step by step until we stand on the Schreckhorn at 4,078 m above sea level! Here the tour truly begins. The traverse over the connecting ridge to the Lauteraarhorn is technically demanding and airy. We enjoy the great climbing up to the Lauteraarhorn at 4,042 m above sea level. Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
