Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent to Tierbergli Hut
Our adventure begins at the Steingletscher. After checking our gear, we shoulder our backpacks and ascend to the Tierbergli Hut at a comfortable pace. The path leads over easily navigable rocks and scree, with ever-improving views of the Steingletscher and the wild Gadmertal. Upon reaching the hut, we enjoy the evening atmosphere, discuss the summit stage, and end the day with a warm meal.

Day 2: Climbing the Sustenhorn
Early in the morning, we leave the hut. Headlamps illuminate the glacier ice as we slowly move towards the Sustenlimmi. The view opens in all directions: to the south, the Damma area, to the east, the Titlis. The ascent to the summit becomes steeper but is manageable. Once at the top, a vast panorama unfolds. The break at the summit is well-deserved – time for an extensive picnic with views of the Gotthard area. Afterwards, we descend, return to the hut, and reach the Steingletscher again in the afternoon.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
