Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ski Tour Training in Grindelwald
Meeting point is in Grindelwald. After an equipment check and a brief introduction, we take the First cable car up to the ski area. The mountain guide explains how to handle the equipment and the basic techniques of ascending with skins. On a short acclimatization tour, we get used to the terrain and learn what we need to pay special attention to on tomorrow's glacier tour. There is plenty of time to ask questions and solidify the basics for the big tour the next day.
Day2
Day 2: Ski Tour Jungfraujoch–Lötschenlücke–Lötschental
From Grindelwald, we take the train to the Jungfraujoch. After the first descent over the Jungfraufirn, we reach Konkordiaplatz, where we put the skins onto our skis. The ascent to the Lötschenlücke leads through an impressive glacier landscape with views of the surrounding peaks of the UNESCO World Heritage area Jungfrau-Aletsch. Once at the top, the view opens into the Lötschental, and ahead lies a long, varied descent over the Langgletscher. The tour ends in Blatten, where we celebrate with a glass of Valais white wine before returning by bus and train.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
