Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Independent Ascent to Blüemlisalp Hut
The ascent to the Blüemlisalp Hut at 2,840 m above sea level is done independently from Kandersteg, passing by the beautiful Öschinensee. Shortly before dinner, you will meet your mountain guide at the hut.

Day2
Day 2: Traverse of the Blüemlisalp Group
We start early in the morning. The first part is done with a headlamp. As daylight breaks, we ascend to Morgenhorn at 3,623 m above sea level. Depending on conditions, this can be technically challenging and steep. After the first peak, the tour is far from over. Full concentration is essential on the exposed ridge, but with good snow conditions, it's an impressive experience. Soon we reach the summit of Wyssi Frau at 3,648 m above sea level. The descent is tricky, and the ridge remains imposing and exposed. We then ascend to the summit of Blüemlisalp at 3,661 m above sea level and enjoy the wonderful view. After descending via the normal route, we quench our thirst on the terrace of the Blüemlisalp Hut and take another look at the impressive trio of the Blüemlisalp. To make the hut descent more exciting, we don't descend towards Öschinensee but head down to Griesalp, crossing the Hohtürli – a truly rewarding hike.

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
