Arrival

Make your own way to Mürren. We will meet you at Intersport Mürren (Chalet Enzian), where you will receive the necessary equipment. After a short walk to the starting point and an introduction to via ferrata techniques, you're ready to go!

Via Ferrata
3 - 4 hrs

We begin, first easy, then more impressive: at the 'Hammer Corner' you have 600 meters of air under your feet. The view drops into the Lauterbrunnen Valley as you move securely along the rock face. Our path passes the base jump platform, and with some luck, you might see base jumpers taking off. Then comes the adrenaline rush: the zip line. Securely attached to the rope, you glide over the roaring Mürrenbach to the other side of the rock face. The journey continues through the wall until you reach the suspension bridge, the grand finale. Step by step, you approach the other end over the 400-meter-deep gorge.

Return

The via ferrata ends in Gimmelwald. From here, you can take the cable car back to Mürren or down to the valley to Stechelberg.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
