Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: Ascent to Weisshorn Hut
Meeting point in Randa. The ascent begins directly with a steep path through the forest before we reach the tree line. From here, rock and scree dominate, and the view of the Valais 4000-meter peaks becomes more impressive with increasing altitude. The last section leads through a high alpine landscape to the Weisshorn Hut at 2,932 m a.s.l. At the top, we enjoy the view of the Matter Valley and take a break to gather strength for tomorrow's summit day.

Day 2: Summit Tour Weisshorn 4505m
Early start in the dark. By headlamp, we cross the Schalijoch Glacier and tackle a varied combination of rock, snow, and exposed ridges towards the summit. The key sections require concentration, every step counts. From 4,000 m a.s.l., a snowfield leads steeply to the highest point – then the moment: Weisshorn 4,505 m a.s.l., surrounded by glaciers, mountains, and vastness. The descent demands full attention again before we celebrate the success with a cool drink at the hut.

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
