Overview
Three highlights, one feeling: pure winter joy between deep snow, cozy huts, and thrilling curves.
This winter adventure combines three highlights in one tour: First, you snowshoe through snowy forests, then enjoy a hearty Swiss fondue in a cozy alpine hut. Finally, you sled through the winter mountain landscape back to the valley.
Itinerary
Meeting pointsThe tour begins directly at our OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken.
We take a bus together to Isenfluh, a small mountain village high above the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The drive takes about 20 minutes.
Upon arrival, we board a small gondola that takes us to the Sulwald mountain station. This is where the real winter adventure begins.
With snowshoes on your feet, you trek through snowy forests, over gentle slopes, and past viewpoints with unobstructed views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The guide knows the area well and will share fascinating stories about the region along the way.
You move through a winter landscape that seems like a dream; far from the crowds and close to nature. The snowshoes ensure you walk safely and comfortably through the deep snow.
After about one and a half to two hours, we reach an alpine hut. Inside, the smell of cheese warms thr room, outside lies the snow. A classic Swiss fondue is served with a panoramic view. A true highlight of the tour.
After the meal, the third part of the tour begins. You sit on a sled and ride through the forest down to the town of Isenfluh. The route is varied and a lot of fun for everyone, without being technically demanding.
Once at the bottom, our shuttle awaits to take you back to Interlaken.
The tour ends at the OUTDOOR Base in Interlaken. You return your equipment, change clothes, and can warm up. Maybe you'll stay a moment longer, share your favorite moment, or scroll through and share your photos. One thing is certain: this mix of winter hiking, fondue, and sledding will be remembered.

General weather info
Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.
Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
