Itinerary

Meeting points
Day1
Day 1: To Hollandia Hut via Louitor
After meeting at Grindelwald Terminal, the journey to the Jungfraujoch begins. From there, we dive directly into the high alpine world: A short descent into the 'Jungfrautula', then we put on skins and ascend through the glacier landscape. The route to Louitor demands strength and technique but offers spectacular views of the region's massive ice flows. The subsequent descent over the Kranzbergfirn is varied and leads us to the Aletschfirn. After the final ascent, we reach the Hollandia Hut: our accommodation for the night at 3,240 m a.s.l.

We set off before sunrise: The route to Aebniflueh leads over wide firn fields, becoming steeper towards the top, and ends with an impressive view of the UNESCO World Heritage peaks. After a summit break, we return to the hut, but the true highlight awaits: The descent over the Langgletscher to Blatten brings 2,350 vertical meters in one go. Here, not only technique counts but also endurance: your legs burn but the smile remains. Arrival in the valley in the afternoon.

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
