Arrival

In the morning, we meet in Grindelwald and take the Eiger Express to Eigergletscher. Then we continue with the cogwheel train to the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe. This is where the adventure begins!

Descent
30 min

We strap on our skis and ski down the Jungfraufirn Glacier towards Konkordiaplatz. The first turns on the glacier feel like they could go on forever: wide slopes, silence, and an incredible panorama.

Ascent
3 - 5 hr

After a short break, we put the skins on our skis and ascend over the mighty Aletschfirn to Lötschenlücke. Looking back: ice, rock, a vast glacier expanse. To the left, the impressive north face of the Aletschhorn, to the right, other 4000m peaks of the Bernese Alps stand in parade. At the highest point, we take our time before the descent begins.

Descent
1 - 2 hr

The Langgletscher leads us into Lötschental. The descent leads us over glaciers and undulating terrain, always heading downhill. The last turns, then we reach Blatten. Here we end the day with a glass of Valais white wine before returning by bus and train.

Weather info

General weather info

Weather can influence any tour, and a clear decision is often only possible on the day itself. We review conditions carefully and remain within our safety limits, and bad weather alone does not mean we have to stop.

Make sure we can reach you with current contact information in case your booking changes. Silence from us means your tour is still planned or the final call is not yet made. If we need to cancel, you can rebook, choose another activity, or get a full refund.
